The life & times...

Ok, so I typically try to send out a Sean update every month (or so...), but Nicole suggested that I try blogging. This way, I can send out the URL & everyone can read new Sean stories & progress as they choose. Plus, I can update day by day (yeah, we'll see how long that lasts). :)

So, this weekend was a fun one with Sean. He's like the smartest baby alive (sorry to all the other mothers who think they have the smartest baby alive :). On Sunday, Jason asked Sean, "Who am I?" and Sean answered, "my dadda". Ok, so it's nothing new for Sean to say dadda, but adding the "my" kind of melted both of our hearts. I'm sure it took everything for dadda not to tear up. Sunday afternoon we went to Olga's & then bowling. At Olga's Sean thanked God for the juice & his nummies. He folded his hands shortly after that and Jason said, "Thank you God for my mumma, dadda, grandmas, grandpas, puppa, etc.". Later into the meal, Sean folded his hands, looked at Jason and said, "juice, nummies, dadda, puppa". He was really trying to do it just like Jason had taught him. He's too precious.

He really loves bowling & the show "Make Way for Noddy" on Sprout right now. Last night, at nursing home crafts, he & grandpa Jim used the therapy bouncing balls & styrofoam cups to make their own little bowling alley. Hey, you improvise when you need to, right?
