"I'm an angel..."

Whenever Sean is really good or really sweet, I always tell him he's an angel. On Tuesday, I made bacon for dinner. Sean was sitting in his seat saying, "thank you for my milk, mommy, it's the best" and "thank you for this bacon, mommy, I love it". Then he said, "I'm an angel, right mommy?". He's too smart!

Last Friday, we went to Aunt Val's sister Kim's house to do some algebra. Sean got to play with Alex, Nathan & Alyssa. After that, we went to Armada to hang out with Jackson while Uncle Mike & Aunt Nicole headed out for the weekend. Sean loved playing with Austin's old trains, of course. The two of them refused to nap, but suprisingly, got along pretty well. That night, Grandma came over to hang out with Sean while me & Jason went to a sweetheart banquet at church. Saturday, Grandma & Puppa came over while I went to my jazzercise class. That night, we went to the Mach's for valentine ice cream sundaes & a nooma video. Sean loves the Mach house. Our friend Peter passed away, so I went to the funeral on Sunday, after church, while Sean was napping. After that, we went to the Davidson's for a fun night of pizza & catch phrase. Never a dull moment with them. Sean & Mason played well together & watched Diego. Tuesday night, I picked Sean up after work & headed to Barnes & Noble by Jason's work. Conveniently, they moved the train table to a section that had Thomas trains for sale. And we didn't even know that the book store carried trains...imagine that. Luckily, Grandma gave Sean a Barnes & Noble "credit card" or gift card, so he could pick out a prize. That card helped soften the blow of our little trip to the book store. Yesterday, we went shopping with Grandpa Jim and then Grandma Sue & Sarah came over. Sean is so lucky to have the grandparents he does. This blog is filled with stories about time spent with Grandma, Puppa, Grandpa Jim, Grandma Sue & Grandpa Larry. It's awesome. It makes me sad to think that there are kids (and grandparents) who don't get to experience that. We are blessed.

Clean up, Aisle 5!

Sean LOVES "driving the bus". It's a song & dance routine we got from church. Half way through the song, you do a plumber dance with a pretend plunger. Yesterday when I met Susie at the doctor for Sean's check up he asked me if I'd bring him a plunger when I came home from work. He had talked to Susie about it all day. He even talked about a plunger in his sleep. We stopped at Meijer on the way home and got one. I was laughing as I walked through the store with a plunger because I knew it was a prize for Sean. He's funny. He was so excited to get it. He even wanted to sleep with it last night. :)

Last Friday was awesome. Grandpa Jim, Grandma & Puppa drove with us. We met Uncle Mike, Aunt Nicole, Max, Livie, Austin, Jackson, Aunt Mary & Scott at Hockey Town Cafe. Jackson was an awesome birthday boy. He sat in his high chair and ate the whole time. We then went over to the Fox for "When Elmo Grows Up". Sean had a blast. He started to fade towards the end, but the show was an hour & 45 minutes, so he held up great. On Saturday, we went to a wildlife exhibit at the Sterling Inn. Val, Alex & Nathan and Annette & Connor were there. Grandpa Jim, Grandma Sue, Grandpa Larry & Paige came up too. Sean got to pet a fox & a python...eww. It was fun, but he only lasted about 30 or 40 minutes there. Saturday afternoon we went to Barnes & Noble to get a Max & Ruby video. They had a cool children's area with a train table. Sean had a blast. He kept saying, "no, I want to stay at the library". Sunday we brought our baby bottle that we filled up with change for CareNet to church. Sean was so cute as he put his money into the bottle. He was so excited to give the bottle of change to Ms. Janie. He said, "this is for the babies". I love him...

Blogging takes discipline!

Something I lack... It's amazing how fast a week goes by!

Last Saturday, Sean went to the Mach's with daddy while I went for mexican food with Jenny & Christie. Woo-hoo! The guys hung out with the kids and the girls went out to dinner. It was wonderful. Sean loves the Mach house. They have trains there, why wouldn't he?!?! Sunday, after church, we went to Austin's 9th birthday party. Sean bowled 3 or 4 frames, but had much more fun running around & eating candy. He did pretty good for not taking his nap until 3:30. He did really good all night too. Jason and I were wondering how we'd watch the superbowl with a 2 year old, but it went well. Monday night Sean went to Grandma & Puppa's while I jazzercised. Tuesday we went to the church for Tim & Natalie's going away party. Yesterday we went to visit Mr. Peter and then Grandpa Nick. We stopped at the Whistle Stop because Sean lost both of his Jack's. They had one Jack left and Grandpa Jim bought it for him. Tonight we're having dinner with Grandma & Puppa and tomorrow we're going to see Elmo Live with Grandma, Puppa, Grandpa Jim, Uncle Mike, Aunt Nicole, Max, Livie, Austin & Jackson for Jackson's 1st birthday. Sean went pee-pee on the potty again last Friday. We're making progress!
